Introduction

A large group of young scouts in green berets, light uniforms, and red neckerchiefs posing together outdoors.

Established since 1964, we aim to develop our scouts to be resilient and all-rounded leaders who are responsible and readily contribute back to our society. Our Dunman Dove scouts uphold Scout Promise and Law and always strive to do their best in all kind of situations.

Our scouts are provided with various opportunities to acquire skills and knowledge through badge courses including Civil Defence badge, Air-Model Maker Badge, Young Mariner’s Badge. Our scouts are exposed to many outdoor activities such as navigation, hiking, dragon boating, sports climbing and kayaking.

Seven young students in orange and blue scout shirts hold maps on a wooden deck overlooking a green forested hillside.

Students in orange shirts paddle a dragon boat on the left, while others climb a tall rock wall on the right.

The patrol system is a good platform for scouts to hone their leadership. We inculcate discipline, determination, teamwork and leadership qualities through scout trainings and camps. Scouts are equipped with life skills such as cooking, Backwoodsman cooking and campcraft. Besides forging camaraderie among scouts, they have become more resilient in face of challenges in life.

Students in yellow uniforms roast a whole chicken over an open fire on bamboo poles and prepare vegetables at tables outdoors.

Our scouts are given opportunities to connect with scouts from different countries and cultural background through jamborees such as 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan (2015), 14th Korea National Jamboree (2016) and 11th Taiwan National Scout Jamboree (2018).

Group in red shirts holds a Singapore Contingent banner for the 14th Korea National Jamboree 2016 before a seated bronze statue.

Our scouts also involved in Values-In-Action such as Kindness project, Istana Open House ambassador and nature conservation project.

Three young students in school uniforms and red scarves hold collected trash while cleaning a beach near trees.

With dedicated and passionate scouts, venture and adult leaders and supportive parents, we have reached new height with great achievements! We will continue to do our best and scale higher!
